Tae Yang, M.D.
Dr. Yang received a Bachelors degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his internal medicine training at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center, and continued with cardiovascular disease training at Henry Ford Hospital, Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Yang completed specialty training in interventional cardiology, and peripheral vascular interventions at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center at Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Yang is board certified in Internal Medicine, and Cardiovascular Diseases. He also has board certification in National Board of Echocardiography, and the Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Yang specializes in interventional cardiology, with additional expertise in rotational atherectomy, laser atherectomy, and complex coronary intervention including CTOs (chronic total occlusions). Dr.
Yang also has expertise in use of Impella hemodynamic assist device, peripheral vascular intervention, and permanent pacemaker implantation.
Dr. Yang is committed to serving the needs of the community, including the underserved patients in the San Fernando Valley, as he has shown during his residency training at UCLA-Olive View Hospital and beyond. He has specialty training in use of rotational atherectomy, laser atherectomy, orbital atherectomy, and hemodynamic devices such as Impella to treat his patient with the most advanced and updated technology available for the treatment of coronary and peripheral artery disease.
In his free time, Dr. Yang enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. When he has any additional time, he likes to play golf, and watch football and basketball.
